What you study
This is the university's MBA plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the facilitating institute, IICT or IIPM in Lucknow. The MBA is the university's degree. The PGDM is the institute's own diploma — not a UGC degree, and it does not claim to be one.
The MBA part runs exactly like the standalone MBA, with two specialisations from five. What to settle is the use you have for the second award, because the recognition already sits with the degree.

How it runs by distance
In distance mode you work through the programme's study material in your own time and submit assignments, and the term-end examinations are the university's. Admission and study support are facilitated by IICT and IIPM, Lucknow. Before paying, ask in writing how examinations will be held for your session — at a centre or online — since that decides your travel and leave.

Recognition, briefly
Subharti University is NAAC A accredited and sets out its UGC recognition on its accreditation page. Its distance programmes run under the UGC's Distance Education Bureau, and the UGC's 2022 public notice treats degrees earned by distance from recognised institutions as equivalent to conventional ones. Check the MBA + PGDM on the DEB portal for your session before you enrol. The PGDM part is the institute's own diploma and sits outside this framework.
